Middle School Due To Welcome New Science Teacher
May 25, 2021
With the year coming to an end many changes are beginning to happen, including introducing a new middle school science teacher to Fair Grove.
“With Mr. Foster leaving and Mrs. Dunning moving to the high school full-time, it was necessary to hire a new HS/MS Science teacher,” said Mr. Green, the middle school principal.
Due to Mr. Foster leaving Fair Grove, it became necessary to bring in a new teacher to fill the place Mrs. Dunning would be leaving by replacing Foster in the high school.
Luckily, a teacher has already been found to fill this empty role.
Mr. Green states, “Mr. Nate Mallard will be starting in Fair Grove next year. He is a Fair Grove graduate who started his teaching career at Buffalo.”
Having taught in another school previously, there will be some necessary adjustments to joining a new school. Luckily, with Mrs. Dunning still being present in the high school the transition is expected to be smooth. Mr. Green elaborates, “Mr. Mallard will have the advantage of being mentored by the teacher he is replacing.
Mrs Dunning states, “I think Mr. Mallard will be a great addition to the Science Department and Fair Grove Schools, in general. He’s already visited me in my classroom to see what a normal day at Fair Grove looks like. I know he is super excited to get started and I am looking forward to working with him.”
