Known for her photography skills, Cindy Hill captures the moments of the Fair Grove community; she attends Fair Grove athletic events to support and photograph the moments.

Hill has been in the Fair Grove community for 23 years. She loves taking pictures. It is one of her only hobbies. Hill loves it because she gets to meet new people and when her clients get their pictures, she loves seeing the excitement on their faces.

Some of the exciting events she captures are of the Fair Grove football team. Hill take pictures of the boys when they come out of the weight room and do their entrance on the field on Friday nights.

Hill stands in front of them around 30 feet to take the team picture. When they run towards their side she has to get out of the way pretty fast. Hill does a lot just to capture the moments the football team shares.

Hill started taking pictures for Fair Grove when she wanted pictures of her kids playing sports and no one else was taking them. She uses a Canon 90D and multiple lenses. It takes more than a few minutes to take good pictures. Hill explained, “My scheduled sessions are anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hrs. Sports can be even longer.”

There are so many sports at Fair Grove. Picking which events to go to can be pretty difficult. “I try to make all of them but it basically determines availability,” shared Hill.

Hill has taken many different types of photos. She has taken many team photos. Audrey Williams (12) explained, “Cindy has taken volleyball/cheer pictures for me for the past 4 years.” That is not all Hill has had to do. “I’ve also had 3 senior picture sessions with her and one family session!” Williams (12) added.

“My favorite part about her pictures are how much fun she is taking them! She tells you exactly what to do and uses fun strategies to make the pictures look as amazing as possible,” Williams (12) expressed.

Hill has also done a lot of pictures with Hailey Hulette (12). Hulette has done a lot of sports over the four years she had been in high school. “I’ve gotten a bunch of team photos such as cheer, track, basketball, and volleyball,” Hulette (12) shared.

When getting your photo taken it captures that memory, something you can keep forever.

Hill wanted to say thank you to the Fair Grove community for all the support over the years. Hill really enjoys taking pictures of student athletes and senior pictures.
