There have been many teams in the history of baseball that are in the conversation of being the best team of all time. A team that comes to a lot of people’s minds would be the 1939 Yankees.

This team played a total of 151 games and managed to take 106 wins while losing 45 games. Some of the great players on this team were Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, and Lefty Gomez. Another great team that a lot of people think of are the 1970 Baltimore Orioles, who had a record of 108-54, one of the greatest winning records in the history of baseball. They managed to get a run differential of +218 while maintaining a team ERA of 3.15. Some of the main players on that team were Frank Robinson and Brooks and Robinson.

The 2001 Seattle Mariners are also a team that a lot of people think of when discussing the greatest team of all time. They are the winningest team of all time in a single season. They managed to go 116-46 but unfortunately lost in the ALCS. They had a run differential of +300, one of the greatest of all time. The team also managed to maintain an ERA of 3.54. Some of the great players on this team were Ichiro Suzuki, Edgar Martinez, and Jamie Moyer. Personally, I believe that the Seattle Mariners are the greatest team of all time. Even though they didn’t manage to win the World Series or even make it to the World Series, they still have the most wins in a regular season and are the winningest team in a full season of Major League Baseball history.
