Top Scorers in Ligue One

The current top scorers in Ligue One are Mbappe, who is a 22 year old that plays for PSG, and Wissam Ben Yedder, who is thirty years old and plays for Monaco. Mbappe has recently bagged a double in their last game against Dijon, where they won four to zero, which put them in second place right behind Lille. Lille is up by two points with 59, while PSG has 57 points. PSG will be looking to be back to back winners of Ligue One if they can come out on top this season. Lyon is currently one point behind PSG in points, and Monaco is two points behind PSG.

After the top four teams the amount of points drops off quite a bit. Metz, who is ranked fifth in the standings, has forty one points, which puts them fourteen points behind Monaco.          

PSG’s Moise Kean is quarantining himself until the morning of March third because he tested positive for COVID 19. Kean was set to leave for a match against Bordeaux. They play Wednesday March third at 3:00 P.M.

PSG is currently on a three game winning streak and has won four out of their past five games. PSG’s next game is on Saturday March sixth at 3:10 P.M. for the 32nd round of the French Cup.

Mbappe is currently being compared to top players like Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. There are also a bunch of comparisons between Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. Erling Haaland is a Norweign forward who plays for Borussia Dortmund.
