Top+25+NCAABB+Power+Rankings

The NCAA boys basketball top 25 has shifted so many ways throughout the season. In this periodical I will explain who I think will do well in the NCAA March Madness Tournament considering their rank.

The top 10 teams in the power rankings consist of Gonzaga (1), Michigan (2), Baylor (3), Illinois (4), West Virginia (5), Alabama (6), Iowa (7), Ohio State (8), Houston (9), Arkansas (10). These teams have shifted positions throughout the season and some of the main teams have dropped out.

These teams have had amazing seasons, and have great records. Gonzaga is yet to be defeated sitting at 24-0. Only 3 teams have ever won the NCAA Basketball Championship undefeated, and I do believe that Gonzaga could be the 4th. I also see high hopes for Mighigan and Baylor for they only have 1 loss both sitting at 18-1. The teams ranking from 11-25 also have a good chance.

Florida State (11), Villanova (12), Kansas (13), Texas (14), Loyola Chicago (15), Creighton (16), Oklahoma State (17), Virginia (18), USC (19), Wisconsin (20), VA. Tech (21), BYU (22), Perdue (23), Clemson (24), and Oklahoma (25). These teams have had many unfortunate losses, including Missouri (26). Missouri has had a record of 1-4 in their past 5 games. Yet I personally would still predict them as this year’s tournament underdog. I believe that (assuming they don’t get a really high seed) if a low seeded team is going to win the tournament, that this team could do it, not because I’m from Missouri.

This year’s March Madness tournament should be a great one as we didn’t have those games last year and of course I can’t wait to get another chance at that perfect bracket.
