Andrew Faubion (12) is a senior who is extremely involved in his school; he has been going to Fair Grove for 13 years.

Faubion is involved in football, basketball, baseball, band, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Christains Ready Equipped and Willing (CREW), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), National Honors Society (NHS), Future Farmers of America (FFA), and Pep Club. Even though he is involved in so many activities, Faubion says, “My favorite sport is football due to the camaraderie and the values that I have learned over the past four years. My favorite club is Pep Club because it gives you a chance to show your school pride at different sporting events.”

Faubion’s favorite teacher is Mr. Jalen Supancic. According to Faubion, Supancic is his favorite teacher because he makes sure his students are comprehending the assignments. Faubion values a good teacher and a good education.

Supancic is the teacher for Digital Communications (Digi Comm) and a sponsor for FBLA. Supancic has Faubion in Digi Comm and he is also a FBLA offers. Supancic shared, “He is someone who has enjoyed video editing in the past and has done some videos for different clubs. He also finally had the chance to take Digi Comm this year so he could learn more about the editing and production process.”

According to Supancic, Faubion is a fantastic student and a positive influence on everyone around him; Faubion also works hard on everything he does and should be an inspiration to the students around him. Supancic says, “He always has a smile on his face, and his positivity is contagious.”

Faubion is currently playing basketball and anyone can watch him play at Fair Grove basketball games. Faubion is involved in more activities as a senior than when he was a freshman; he does not get very many off days between all of his sports and clubs.

Garin Geitz is one of Faubion’s many teammates in baseball and basketball.  Faubion is a fan favorite and a great teammate, according to Geitz. Geitz said, “I do enjoy him as a teammate because he’s always so positive and cheers for everyone.”

Faubion is an overall good student, teammate, and person, as stated by Mr. Supapanic and Geitz. Faubion said he likes to show school spirit and likes to be looked up to by his younger teammates.
