School Carnival – An Evening Of Fun For All
April 27, 2022
Fair Grove PTO will be hosting the 2022 School Carnival at Fair Grove Elementary on April 29th from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Kendra Hill, who is a part of the Fair Grove PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), is in charge of organizing the school carnival. Hill described her experience with organizing the school carnival. She shared, “We have had a great group of women who have rallied together to ensure all ages of our wonderful Fair Grove Community will have a great night with family and friends!”
The principal of Fair Grove Elementary School, Charity Hollan, explained, “[the school carnival is] an evening for families to enjoy games and food in the elementary school,” she continued, “Fair Grove PTO hosts the annual carnival. They invite clubs, classrooms, and community members to participate in the booths.”
Hill explained, “When entering the Elementary school you will be welcomed by our ticket booth and table of FG Apparel. As you enter the school you will find bounce houses that fill the upper gymnasium. Down the hall, you can check out the library for our silent auction items or pop over to the cafeteria for some yummy Carnival food.” There will be several other activities offered at the carnival. Hill explained, “In the music room you can try your luck on winning delicious desserts or try your chance at winning a prize from one of the carnival games in the lower gym.”
There are about 20 different booths open for entertainment that will be set up across the lower elementary gym. Hill shared, “StuCo will be doing face paintings, the baseball team will be selling caramel apples, Elevations Studio will have pin the tutu on the Ballerina, many teachers will be hosting events in their classrooms and our Cheerleaders will also have a booth where you can play a Large game of Tic Tac Toe! You also won’t want to miss out on our carnival-themed selfie booth!”
There are a few things Hill wanted the community to know before the carnival. She asked, “Please enter the main entrance of the elementary school to purchase tickets for all of the different available booths!” Hill recommends everyone in the community to come by. She exclaimed, “This is a great opportunity to visit with family and friends, win fun prizes at each booth, and bid on some fun themed baskets in the silent auction or join in on the cakewalk where you’re sure you take home a yummy Dessert!”
