As the 2022-2023 school year comes to an end, the seniors aren’t the only ones taking on new things. On March 29 High School scheduling, and senior skip day took place.

For some underclassmen, scheduling can be a stressful time, but the excitement for the next school year is what helps them pull through. “Scheduling at the end of the year always gets me stressed out. It is really fun to try and get classes with your friends, but sometimes classes fill up and you’re not able to do that, which can make it not the most fun experience,” sophomore Ashton Bell explained.

For juniors, they are beginning to plan out their senior year. Many were excited for the day. Junior Lindy Sutherland said, “I’m very excited for my Senior year, it came so fast. I thought that scheduling this year went pretty smoothly for me. The whole process of it was an exciting time, and it just made me more ready for next school year.”

With the seniors’ actual last day coming up on May 12, they’re eager to start a new chapter in their lives. Luna explained, “I’m a little nervous to graduate, and it’s coming really fast. I am really excited for summer and starting college basketball, but I will definitely miss my friends here at Fair Grove.”
