Randie Roepke returns as the middle school assistant principal to the Fair Grove School District at the beginning of the 24-25 school year, after one year away from the district at Fordland Missouri.
Roepke had previously worked in the Fair Grove District as a middle school teacher. He held the position in Social Studies, teaching 7th grade geography, and 8th grade American history for the 2015-2023 school years. Roepke notes that he also held coaching positions, sponsored school clubs, and was on a few committees during his previous stint as a teacher.
Today, Roepke can be found in the front office working in the middle school. During his year away from Fair Grove, he held the position of Assistant Principal of grades 6-12 and Transportation Director at Fordland R-3 Schools. Roepke spoke on his transition, ¨Ultimately, my mission of positively impacting kids, and making Fair Grove a great place for our students has not changed. However, I no longer do that in the classroom environment but focus on the middle school building as a whole.¨
Previously there was no assistant principal for the middle school. The front office consisted of a secretary, counselor, and a principal
Middle School Principal, Marc Green, spoke on the creation of a new position. ¨I am thankful that we had the opportunity to bring in Roepke to fill the position of middle school assistant principal. This is a new position for our building and we are thankful the district has added the position to better serve our students and staff.¨
Green also emphasized the importance of Roepke within the school. He states, “We are extremely blessed to have Roepke back in Fair Grove Schools. He was such an important member of our middle school staff for so many years and it’s almost like he never left. He is a huge supporter of our teachers and students and his new position allows him to work directly with students at all grade levels.¨
Roepke also touched on any information he felt was important for his students, coworkers, and any others to know about him and or his new position. He stated, “Fair Grove is an amazing place to live and work. I am blessed to be able to come back and work with the students and staff we have at Fair Grove Middle School.¨
