Fair Grove Volleyball and Football have been protecting undefeated seasons, volleyball finished their season with a no-loss perfect season, and football is defending their own season on November 15th, for the district title at Fair Grove.
Football quarterback Spensar Seigar (12), stated, “I’ve learned how to coach people without yelling at them or criticizing them…” One of Seigars Favorite parts of this season was being able to be fortunate enough to have consecutive wins with his team. The team in the regular season had a strong winning streak of 8-0, and Seiger plans to continue this successful pattern.
Seigar’s teammate Ethan Martinez (11), stated, “No matter what adversity comes our way, we are better at overcoming it as a team rather than by ourselves.” As a new Fair Grove student, Martinez admires the new culture that is surrounded with being an eagle, and a football teammate.
On the court side of Fair Grove’s fall sports, volleyball ended the year with an undefeated mark on the history of Fair Grove. Brooke Daniels (12), the team’s main setter, spoke of their team doing something differently this year. Daniels’ team had ran a 5-1 instead of a 6-2; a new volleyball offensive plan. Daniels exclaimed, “I was so excited for this season, because we had a lot of returning players and a lot of talent returning to our team.”
Fair Grove Volleyball celebrated their state-winning assembly on November 13th, and on November 15th the football boys will step foot on the Fair Grove field to defend their own undefeated season.
