Big decisions are being made as senior signing day approaches. On April 16th, 2025, seniors will officially commit to their future colleges, taking a large step in their future careers.
Senior signing day is an exciting event where high school seniors publicly commit to colleges or universities, often to play sports. This day is a massive milestone for seniors, in terms of fully committing to a school, and announcing it to their community.
This year, Fair Grove is proud to celebrate 11 confirmed senior athletes who will officially sign on the 16th. These students have a large range of athletic talent and abilities across multiple sports.
Among the seniors who are signing, three students will continue their athletic careers in STUNT, two in football, three in basketball, one in baseball, one in beach volleyball, and one in track and field.
Three Fair Grove seniors are taking their talents to Missouri State University, each adding their unique talents and skill to the team.
First, Navaeh Lahey (12) has officially committed to MSU, where she will join the STUNT team. Lahey shared, “I am so excited to start this next chapter of my life and make many new friends on the team.”
Joining her on the STUNT team is her fellow senior, Reese Wells (12), who’s commitment marks an exciting milestone in her career. Wells’ commitment to the team continues to build on Missouri State’s roster.
Also committing to Missouri State, is Shea Skouby (12), who will compete on the sand volleyball team. In addition to her talents in sand volleyball, Skouby has also been a key part of Fair Grove’s volleyball team for her high school career.
Crowder College is welcoming two talented athletes from Fair Grove this year, as seniors Camdyn Hart (12) and Abbey Green (12) commit to continue their basketball careers.
Both Hart and Green have been key players in Fair Grove’s basketball team. Additionally, Green is also a multi-sport athlete, and has played an important role in our volleyball program as well.
Brooklyn Mauldin (12) will continue her athletics at Drury University, where she has committed to join the STUNT team. She is a dedicated and well-rounded athlete, and has also had an important role in the Fair Grove soccer team.
Nolen Geitz (12) has committed to William Jewell College, where he will continue to play baseball. Adding to his accomplishments on the baseball field, he is also a member of Fair Grove’s cross country team.
Brock Bruner (12) has decided to commit to Southeast Missouri State University for Football. He expressed, “It was a very stressful process when it came to picking a school, but when I took a visit to SEMO, I knew that was where I wanted to go.” On top of football, Bruner is also involved in track and baseball.
Spensar Seiger (12) has committed to continue his athletic career at MidAmerica Nazarene, where he will join the football program. Seiger is also a multi-sport athlete, involved in track and baseball at Fair Grove.
Wichita State University is gaining a standout athlete in Canyon Crowley (12), who has committed to join the track and field program. Crowley has been a key contributor to the Fair Grove track team throughout his high school career.
Ashton Bell (12) has committed to Evangel University, where she will continue her athletic career on the basketball team. Contributing to the athletics department in more ways than one, Bell competes in volleyball and track as well as basketball.
Senior signing day is a meaningful stepping stone for both Fair Groves athletes and the entire community. This year’s group displays a wide range of talent, dedication, and hard work across multiple sports. As they take the next step in their journey, we celebrate their achievements and their futures.
Editor’s note: Kellen Lair and Bryden Baxter were not on the initial list we received on 3/28, but also signed today. We will update this article accordingly after further interviews are completed, and we will be posting photos of the event as well.

I’m glad there are even more. When we reached out to the school on 3/28, these 11 are the students who informed the school of their signing, and it takes a couple weeks for us to interview, write, edit, and post our articles, so that gap in time is probably what they weren’t included in this particular article. I’ve added their names to the article. Thank you!
