The 2025-2026 Fair Grove Football Team has added a new addition to the coaching staff, Dustin Hayman. He’s already making a huge impact on the football team and the players.
Coach Hayman expressed, “I didn’t hesitate to say yes when Coach Voorhis asked me to be one of the football coaches I was so honored.”
While Coach Hayman has taken on this new role of being one of the football coaches he is also the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Fair Grove High School. Hayman stated, “My favorite thing is definitely the interactions with the kids at practice and here at school.”
With his high energy and passion for the game, Coach Hayman has quickly become a favorite among the players. “I have really enjoyed having Coach Hayman as a coach this year,” stated Austin Azeez (10). Azeez added, “I think he brings a lot of intensity to everything we do and I think Coach Hayman has had a very positive impact on the team.”
Players expressed how Hayman has impacted the team, “He brings a new aspect to the team, his intensity and love for us and the game,” said Carson Trussell (12).
Kendal Wilson (9) noted, “Having Coach Hayman as one of the high school coaches has been awesome. He is really active with us and cares a lot about the team.”
Coach Jeremy Faubion also weighed in on Hayman’s impact, he stated, “Coach Hayman has been a positive addition to our coaching staff. He is a good coach and a good man.”
Coach Fabubion expressed, “… he demands the best out of his players, and he has an open door to communication. Our kids love him.”
Hayman explained what coaching has been like so far, “My life is definitely busier now that I am a coach, but it has definitely given me a new perspective on how I use my time. Spending time with the boys has been my favorite part.” He added, “I absolutely love coaching! Learning from Coach Voorhis and the rest of the coaching staff has been a great experience.”
Hayman’s goal is to make a positive impact on his players, just like his college coaches did for him. “I want the best for them,” Hayman said. With a passion for football, Hayman is now a member of the high school football team’s coaching staff.
