She expressed, “I think it’s a huge compliment to be nominated. I remember getting nominated my freshman year and being shocked that people voted for me. I think it helps that I am involved in so much and have met so many people and made friends outside of my regular group. It’s good to know that my classmates think highly of me”.
Huff added, “It is a huge honor being a Fair Grove Homecoming Queen! I’ve gone to school here since preschool and I love this school and community so much. It’s very exciting, but I am more thankful that people thought of me for this than receiving the actual title of Homecoming Queen. I’m so grateful I get to be a light for the Lord.”
The Homecoming dance was on October 3rd after the home football game against Springfield Catholic. The homecoming princesses were announced before the football game.
