In 2015, Nick Andrews, a soccer player, theatre student, and editor of the newspaper, graduated from Fair Grove High School. During his time here, Nick participated in a variety of different clubs, including JOLT, NHS, FBLA, and SADD. He also played on Fair Grove’s first high school boys soccer team, participated in theatre, and was an editor of the Fair Grove newspaper during his senior year. Nick Andrews was an incredibly involved student throughout his high school career. “It was a lot. Although it did a good job preparing me for college,” Nick stated. Andrews is now a Sophomore at Drury University. “I’m an accounting and finance double major, and am planning on sitting for CPA exam after graduation in a couple of years,” he stated.
At Drury, Andrews is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order, Alpha Lambda Delta, and ENACTUS. Alpha Lambda Delta is a Greek honor society, and ENACTUS is an international entrepreneurial action organization focused on bettering the world through business innovations that create a lasting impact. “When not in class or doing something with the various organizations I’m a part of, I also work part time at a law office. That’s my life during a normal semester,” He added.
“This semester however, is totally different,” Andrews said. This term Andrews is doing a study abroad in London, England. The study lasts the duration of a whole semester, meaning he will be spending the remainder of this school year in Europe. Andrews is taking international business classes at Regents University. Regent University is a non profit university, in inner city London. The university was created in 1984, and granted taught-degree conferring status from 2012-2013. Andrews arrived in the heart of London, England on January 22nd of 2017, and he comes back to the States on the 3rd of June.
