Marshfield Community Theater (MCT) just finished performing Clue, a classic who-done-it mystery. They performed the weekends of the 20th and 27th in a suite at the Centerview Plaza shopping center in Marshfield. Fair Groves senior Dane Psyhos played the Motorist and former a former graduate of Fair Grove, Owen Smith, played Mr. Green.

They utilized what they had and made the play unique by creating a 360 stage. The mansion wrapped around the walls and the play unfolded around you. There were seven tables in the middle where the audience would sit and be served fruit, desserts and drinks. The actors would run through the crowd and interact with the audience. At the end of the show I even got to open the classified envelope that explained the mystery.  As the play progressed every audience member had a card like in the board game that had the different weapons, characters, and potential murder scenes in the house. During intermission everyone filled out their card, then they were collected and after the show the person who was the closest to solving the mystery won a prize.

The prize consisted of sparkling lemonade and tickets to MCT’s upcoming haunted house.

MCT will be having a haunted house in October, and their next production will be Frozen JR. in March of 2020.
