The Netflix Sensation That’s Sweeping the Nation #2
October 29, 2019
My fellow Netflix enthusiast, a new month has come bringing plenty of movies and shows to be thankful for this November. The holidays are right around the corner, bringing with them frigid winds and dark cloud cover to provide the perfect weather to stay in with a movie or two. Netflix has provided many new shows and movies to kick off the binge-watching season.
Children ready to skip Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas will be excited on Nov. 1st about Elliot the Littlest Reindeer, a story about a miniature horse who is determined to take over after Blitzen retires. The feel-good teen romance, Let it Snow coming Nov. 8th, is one to see how the story unfolds when a snowstorm brings together a few high school seniors who find love. Apache Warrior is a documentary coming to Netflix on Nov. 1st about US fighter pilots who served in one of the largest combat strikes in history. A gritty action/thriller movie about a man reconnecting with his gang when he returns from prison will be arriving Nov. 8th and is called Paradise Beach. Grab your popcorn and blankets because this November is going to be full of movies you don’t want to miss.
It’s not just movies coming this November, but plenty of binge worthy shows as well. Get ready for your holiday feasts while watching The Great British Baking Show: Holidays (Nov. 8). Season 1 of the new series Queer Eye: We’re in Japan! will be coming out on Netflix Nov. 1st, along with season 3 of Atypical. On Oct. 28th, Jeopardy! will make its appearance. We Are the Wave, a series about teens who began to revolt against nationalistic fervor that begins to go wrong will come Nov. 1st. Don’t miss out on these spectacular shows!
As the saying goes, out with the old and in with the new. While saying hello to these new shows and movies, we must say goodbye to some that will be missed leaving Netflix this November. Wild North (TV series), I’ll Have What Phil’s Having (TV series), A Dog’s Life, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and The Two Towers, Stardust, Little Women, and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa are just a few that will be leaving Netflix. Now that you know what’s new and what’s gone, go and watch Netflix to your heart’s content in the lovely weather we’ve been having. So long!
