Patriots on Top

These past three weeks have been crazy  for the NFL, but it’s been a fun, with a couple crazy trades going by and a couple unaccepted wins by some teams. The Chiefs, Patriots, and 49ers are the focus of the past three weeks.

One of the most unexpected games was between the Chiefs and the Colts in week five. With a decently low scoring game, The Chiefs were off to a slow start with only a field goal in the first quarter. Then in the second, they bounced back to have a close halftime score of 10-13, only down three. In the third nothing changed with both teams, and after six possession neither team could find a way to put points on the board. This game resulted in a 19-13 first loss for The Chiefs, leaving them at 4-1. The next three weeks they moved to 4-2, 5-2, and are now 5-3.

Another highlight of the last three weeks has been how unstoppable the Patriots and 49ers have been. The Patriots and 49ers are the only undefeated teams, with the Patriots standing at 8-0, and the 49ers standing at 7-0 with a week four bye. The Patriots are on a roll and destroying teams, and with that being said, without Antonio brown, who was cut from the team after being accused of sexual assault by the team trainer. The Patriots have been a good team, scoring 223 points with only 48 points scored against them. This is the best current record in the NFL for points scored and points scored against, as well as the best winning record, I don’t see this slowing down anytime soon.

This upcoming week the Patriots will play the Ravens, and see how great of an addition that wide receiver Mohamed Sanu will be. With that being said, the 49ers will be playing the Cardinals, and the Chiefs will play the Vikings, hoping to come back after their week seven loss to the Packers.
