The Fair Grove community has recently had many new small businesses come to town. These businesses include Optimum Vibes, 4D’s Eats, Megan’s Bake Shop, The Nail Lounge + Tanning, and Snowy Addiction.
Following the construction of the newer Kum & Go, vacant rooms for businesses have appeared all over Fair Grove. According to Tiffany Hamilton, owner of Optimum Vibes, this space opening up has been a dream come true.
“This dream became a reality after approximately one and a half years. I love being a business owner and being able to grow and dictate my own success,” stated Hamilton.
Hamilton also added, “I love being involved everyday with my community and giving them healthy options, also helping them with their health and wellness journey.”
According to Hamilton, Optimum Vibes has also now created permanent full time hours. The consistent hours now consist of 7:00 am – 5:00 pm from Tuesday to Friday and 9:00 am to 3:00pm on Saturday, while closed on Sunday and Monday.
Optimum Vibes also runs a 21 day challenge that begins the first Monday of every month and was created to help people for healthy habits and be a part of the community.
Along with Optimum vibes, one of the other businesses that have come to life in the former Kum & Go is The Nail Lounge + Tanning. The Fair Grove location includes tanning, hair, nails, makeup, and a little girls section.
The owner of The Nail Lounge + Tanning, Anna Johnsen stated, “Come in, treat yourself, relax and enjoy!” Johnsen appreciates the idea behind a “treat yourself” salon and has even incorporated 24 hour tanning into her business. Guests are welcome to their separate entrance to tanning at all hours of the day seven days a week.
Johnsen has owned a hair salon for eighteen years and wanted to extend to another town and add even more than hair. Johnsen added that her favorite thing about owning the business is, “Getting to make others feel good!”
Within the last year and a half, Fair Grove has gained businesses in many industries. The community has gotten health drinks, beauty, restaurants, snow cones and more. Fair Grove also still has many open buildings waiting for a renter. Many owners have taken advantage of Fair Grove’s vacant buildings in the community, suggesting that there is still more to come.
