Ashley Lederich and her family moved to Fair Grove during August of 2021, and she has been attending and volunteering at the school for three years.
Lederich is a very involved member of the Fair Grove community, and stays involved through the school year, working with several important organizations. Lederich has been a hard worker in the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for three years, including being Vice President for two years. Lederich was also voted in as Secretary for QuarterBack Club (QBC) during the summer of 2023.
She said, “It’s hard to have ideas or opinions about things if you aren’t actively participating in whatever interests you. Since I have school age kids, the easiest way I figured to do this is to volunteer!”
Before moving to Fair Grove, Ashley had been working as a substitute for six years. “I love kids of all ages, and having the opportunity to teach them and be a positive influence is very rewarding.”
Over the past few months, Ashley subbed for Mrs. Toni Robertson’s Pre-K class in the elementary from October 8th to December 8th as well. She said, “You definitely get into a good routine for long term teaching, and I always miss the students and fellow teachers I work with greatly when my time is over.”
The school year of 2024-2025, Ashley wants to continue helping the Quarterback Club and volunteering with Project Grad when she has any time to help. She also plans on Chairing the Holiday Shop for the Elementary. Along with those, she even plans on substituting throughout the school when assistance is needed. “As the saying goes, it takes a village. I am just one of many who work hard supporting this school and community.”
