The junior high volleyball girls played Mount Vernon on October 7th. The eighth grade  girls prevailed with a score of  25-8 on the first set and a closer score of  25-21 on the second set. The seventh grade team ended with a score of 25-17 on the first set and 25-15 on the second set, giving the eagles another win.

The team effectively ran their offense, minimized their errors and turned into a solid volleyball play on the eagles side of the net.  Coach of the eighth grade team Michelle Canafax explained “they played really well as a team.” Coach Cannafax also stated that Alana Findley is someone to watch out for in the future shes tall, athletic, and has a good understanding of the game.

This game concluded the 2014 season for the fair Grove middle school volleyball team. The seventh grade ended with 13 wins, one loss, and one tie. The eighth grade ended their season with the same totals as seventh grade. Both teams lost to Marshfield, and both had a tie game with Ash Grove.
