As of July 1st, 2015, current High School Principal Mike Bell will be taking over as Superintendent of the Fair Grove School District. In a statement released on February 21st, The Fair Grove Board of Education announced, “We are excited and pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Mike Bell as the Superintendent of Fair Grove R-X School District.” Bell will be the replacement for former Superintendent John Link, who resigned in early February after serving at the position for nine years.

“I am very blessed to have the opportunity to continue my career at Fair Grove Schools as the superintendent. This is an incredible school and community and we look forward to building success on the strong foundation that has been established,” Says Bell.

Bell has served at Fair Grove for 15 years, starting off his career by coaching and teaching for seven years, before working up to Assistant Principal in which he held for two years, and then High School Principal, where he has been for the past six years.
Bell says that, “It is important to me to build quality relationships throughout the district, in order to move our district forward academically, fiscally, and for the best interest of our most important resource, our kids.”

Assistant High School Principal Marc Green commented on Bell’s character and qualities that fit the position, saying Bell has proven to be successful in the many positions he has held throughout his career, and is a man of exemplary character and has a passion for educating children.

Taking over for Bell will be Middle School Principal Chris Stallings. Stallings has been at Fair Grove for six years, and has served four as Assistant High School Principal, and two as the Middle School Principal. Current Assistant High School Principal Marc Green will also be changing positions, as he will take over as the Middle School Principal. These changes will be made official on July 1st, 2015.
