So What If I’m Not That Much of A Girly Girl?

In high school there are like a good four things girls actually care about: shoes, wardrobe, boys, and their iPhone. You tend to hear a lot of, “Oh my gosh, I love your shoes!” and, “where did you get that shirt?” The latest talk or secret going around is normally about some guy’s hair and how he combed it instead of just leaving it down. Heaven forbid, if you want to ruin some girl’s life, just take her beloved iPhone. The above explanation is the stereotype of almost every female that breathes, but what about food?
I guess my mindset is on a totally different page because instead of a compliment on your shirt, I’m probably going to ask you if I can have your tots. The first thing I think about when I get home isn’t what I’m going to wear out tonight, it’s probably wondering if my mom picked up any snacks that I could devour after school. You’re worried about the mall closing before you get there, while I’m worried about the timer on the microwave. Who even worries about their clothes that much anyway? Half the time I find a pair of jeans somewhere in my room and pair it with a t-shirt from the floor of the closet. Sometimes I get really fancy and happen to come upon a flannel shirt that matches that outfit. I honestly couldn’t care any less, but seriously, are you going to eat that?
What’s his face got a haircut, that’s awesome, I’m so proud, but did you watch that Chelsea game last night? The only reason I need my phone is so I can watch Grey’s Anatomy and soccer games. I mean yeah, sure, his hair looks different but I was too busy watching Falcao score that goal. I guess I’m not a girly girl, I’m just a normal, food, flannel, and soccer loving person that all those other people wish they were.
