Where Are They Now?

Fair Grove High School has seen graduates leave the school and continue to soar above expectations. For former students Emilie Armstrong and Autumn Wilson, they have continued their soccer lives and have started to path their way into careers for the future.

Autumn Wilson graduated from Fair Grove High with the class of 2017. Wilson is attending Neosho County Community College. She was a soccer player throughout her high school years. She started playing her sophomore year and continued into college. She is studying and plans to major in graphic design. Wilson is ranked second individually in the conference as a goalkeeper. She says, “We are 3rd in conference as a team and individually i’m second ranked in conference as goalkeeping!”

Autumn prefers college even though it can be a struggle sometimes.  “It feels like you’re jumping on a trampoline with your friends till you fall down and they keep jumping so you can’t get up, but I’m also having the time of my life!”

Emilie Armstrong graduated with the class of 2016 She is also attending Neosho County Community College. Emilie is currently taking some general studies courses that go towards her intended Spanish degree. Armstrong plans on starting to get her bachelor’s degree at Missouri Southern state University next year. She was a soccer player in her high school years and continues to play throughout college. Armstrong stated,“Our soccer season is going pretty well this year.”

Last year Neosho Country finished the season with 0-18. Their current record stands as 6-6. “We have gained many girls that have been the root of our success, including Fair Grove’s own, Autumn Wilson,” Armstrong added.
