On Friday, November 17th Fair Grove High School hosted it’s annual turkey dinner for the senior citizens. At this event along with serving the elders some delicious turkey the Fair Grove student’s put on a show as well. The Singing Eagles, the High School Choir, and the Kindergartners performed some songs for the senior citizens to hear as they enjoy their lunch for the evening.

“I enjoy watching the progression from kindergarten to Singing Eagles to High School Choir,” said audience member Nancy Downing. Heather Lumley is the director of the kindergartners performance. She teaches them what their going to sing, along with the actions they will perform with the songs.

The town favorite of course is the Kindergartners. “The kindergarteners are so excited to perform and they are spontaneous. They love the applause and they are so cute,” stated Downing. Towards the end of the performance of the little ones, Mickie Roberts (12) was dressed up as a turkey and she danced with the kindergartners to give the audience some more excitement and laughter.

The kindergartners also performed Tuesday on November 14th for the parents of the little ones. “The Kindergartners did a great job in their performance. Mrs. Lumley always impresses me with how prepared the kids are. Mickie Roberts did a great job being Turkey Tom!” said parent Jenny Talbert.
