School clubs are a great way to get involved, and branch out of your comfort zone.  Fair Grove Middle School has a plethora of clubs to choose from, ranging from student fellowship, the arts, and many more.

TRUE (Teens Reaching Unbelievers Everywhere) is just one of the clubs the middle school has to offer.  TRUE is where students come together in fellowship, it is sponsored by Mrs. Bryce, but is student led. FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) is a club similar to TRUE, where students gather in fellowship to talk about Christ. FCA is sponsored by Mr. Roepke, Mrs. Roepke, and Ms. Martin.

Another club at Fair Grove Middle School is YuGiOh club, sponsored by Mrs. Daigle.  During club hours, the students play the card game against one another. Crochet club, sponsored by Mrs. Anglen, is an after school club open for anyone who wants to learn how to crochet. For students that enjoy science, Science club, sponsored by Mrs. Bryce and Mrs. Richardson, is a great club to participate in. Scholar Bowl, sponsored by Mrs. Lemon, is a challenging, but fun club, where students learn many new things.

Art club is just one of the clubs that allows a lot of room creativity and fun, sponsored by Mrs. Hammers.  Another club that requires some artistic ability is Speech and Debate, sponsored by Mrs. Champion. As well as Bel Canto Choir & Honor Choir, sponsored by Mrs. Harmon.  If students want to incorporate themselves in a club that really engages with the student body, Character Council, sponsored by Mrs. Minor, is a great way to further involve yourself.

Chest club, sponsored by Mr. Vancleave is a club for grades 5-12.  During club hours, “the kids enjoy some structured time where they can play chess against their peers in friendly competition,” said Mr. Vancleave.  Chess club members get to participate in tournaments where they compete against kids from other schools, which the kids enjoy.  This year chess club members will be attending a tournament at Drury on October 18th.
