When it comes to finding a summer job via the internet, there are many websites to assist you. If you’re unsure on where you want to work or what interests you, there are websites that assist in that. Whether it’s narrowing your search area or taking a “We can guess your future job!” quiz, there are many resources for your use. Two of those websites are Indeed.com and Trade-schools.net.

If you’re looking for a job simply to pass time, or a job that you aren’t particularly interested in, Indeed.com is a wonderful website that assists in finding job opportunities near you. It allows you to put in a search for teen jobs in the area and many other specifics, such as wages, work hours, and more. Another feature is that Indeed.com enables you to put out your own resume and let employers contact you.

Another website I would recommend would be Trade-schools.net. Where, if you look under articles and find “jobs for teens”, you can find “28 Great Ways to Make Money and Get Experience,”  ripe for the reading. When on the article you can find jobs for teens younger than 14, jobs for teens older than 14, as well as online jobs for teens. Each segment provides information such as average wage (some jobs don’t an average), a brief description, and other details about the occupation. Using the combination of Indeed.com and Trade-schools.net will allow you to narrow down your options so you can decide on a job that fits you.
