Allison Findley, a senior at Fair Grove High School, takes a major part in DECA, Volleyball, and Basketball. Findley has plans to get a masters in business.

Findley is a student at Fair Grove High School. She is a starter on both the volleyball and basketball teams. Findley has learned about the perception of time and how fast time flies, saying, “I have a better perception of how much time flies. During freshman year I felt like I was going to be in high school forever but now as a senior, I feel like it’s gone by in a blink of an eye.”

According to Findley one of her oldest friends is Lindy Sutherland (12). Sutherland speaks highly of Findley saying, “Allison Findley has a special spark about her. She knows how to work hard for what she wants, she is wholeheartedly herself and doesn’t conform. She values the things she is passionate about, and she keeps her friendships close to her heart!“

Saylor Cowles (12) brags about Findley, “One thing that she has done that has stuck out to me is when people at lunch are sitting by themselves, she will take the time to talk with them and ask if they want to come to sit at our table.” Cowles continued, “ Not a lot of people I know would do that. But she has such a kind heart that she does not care who you are, she is always welcoming.”

Findley talks about her big plans for the future, “I plan to get an undergraduate degree, studying for a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. After that, I hope to go to graduate school to obtain an MBA (Master of Business Administration).”

Findley has steps in place to achieve her goals and plans. Findley said she is applying for local scholarships, going on college visits, and competing in DECA. Findley believes that DECA competitions will look good on her college application; DECA has given Findley real business world experience.

Sutherland shared a specific time when Findley overcame a challenge, “The biggest challenge would be having to put the work in when it comes to sports. If you ask anyone they would say that Allison is the hardest working on and off the court. She is challenged by her appointees and her fellow teammates, but she rises above and works hard!”

Findley has a passion for spreading the gospel, Findley announced, “I started a YouTube channel where I upload videos about Jesus and share my testimony. I also plan to start a podcast, and once I get more followers, I plan to write a book and be able to hold real conference events.”

Findley’s advice for underclassmen is, “Remember that feeling pressure means you’re growing.”
