A unique new restaurant has opened its doors to the community of Fair Grove. “LOL Cafe,” a name that may lead you to question the theme of this restaurant, but I assure you this cafe is nothing to laugh about.

When I first walked in, I was surprised at how nice the place looked. I had been expecting to see the stereotypical, small town country cafe. Instead I entered a large room with red and black accents and soft lighting. The combination of the accents, lights, and other decor made for a really comfortable atmosphere.

The cafe provides several different cuisines to feed all of your cravings in one place: ranging from chinese dishes like sushi, several sandwiches and soups, country style meals like fried steak, burgers, and even wings. “LOL Cafe” gives you the most bang for your buck, with their large helpings of food and reasonable prices that range from $5-$14. I decided to order an appetizer of fried mushrooms, a roll of sushi, and a fried steak sandwich with fries. I know what you’re thinking, “Dang! That girl can eat.” Let me just stop you there. My eyes are certainly bigger than my stomach, but I was able to take home the food and make two meals out of what I ordered, which made great leftovers… definitely worth it.

The service was also very attentive, anytime I started running out of something they promptly returned with a refill. The waitresses were also extremely kind. “LOL Cafe” is located in the strip mall behind Dollar General. They are open from 8am to 2pm and 4pm to 9pm on Tuesday through Saturday, and 8am to 4pm on Sunday. LOL Cafe was an overall very enjoyable experience I would give it a rating of 8/10.
