Monroe Coffee Co. is a coffee shop located in downtown Fair Grove on Main Street. It is open from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Monroe is not your average coffee shop; it has two other shops inside too, all run by the same people. Brylee Mallard (9) stated, “I would definitely say I like that it isn’t solely a coffee shop. Being able to look through the other products they offer while waiting for your beverage is definitely a plus, since it allows for something else to do while waiting.”
Monroe also is conjoined with another shop that is also popular with the customers, Anna Moffis (10) said, “I think that it’s pretty cool that it has a clothing/gift shop, you can get something to drink then get a present for a friend.”
The menu has many options and many different kinds of new tastes to try for the first time or maybe even the 100th time. Moffis explained, “One of the things I got was a red velvet cake pop. It was one of the best cake pops ever and it was a pretty good size.”
The coffee shop has a dining spot inside where customers can sit and eat and they also have other settings for people who just want to go in and chit chat with friends on the couch. Mallard exclaimed, “The environment definitely is comfortable, cozy, but most of all friendly.”
It gives people the sense of safety and security instead of a harsh dark room with uncomfortable seating. Moffis said, “I loved the environment it seem like a good place to do some school work to hang out with friends.” Monroe has many windows and a lot of natural sunlight in the shop while shopping.
The other shops have just as much to offer as well, they have clothing, trinkets or just a nice gift they could get for themselves or someone they love. Mallard stated, “I know the products I have bought from there have been excellent quality and help up well so far, so I would definitely recommend them to others.”
Mallard said, “I would say my favorite thing about the Coffee shop is definitely the small town or home-like atmosphere that they have managed to create inside their shop. The people working there are always friendly and I personally have never had a bad experience when it comes to this business.”
