The Fair Grove 2025-2026 seniors graduated at the High Street Baptist church on May 15th 2026. Carrying diplomas and memories all in one, moving to the next chapter of their lives. They are officially signing off in front of their friends, family and former students.
Graduation consisted of speeches from the high school principal, Randie Roepke, the shop and agriculture teacher, Cole Johnston, and three chosen seniors: Cheyenne Miller, Addyson Nunley, and Carson Trussell. The Fair Grove Choir sang the National Anthem and “Be a Light” arranged by Tim Hayden. There was a senior slideshow, recognition, graduation ceremony, and the traditional cap toss.
Roepke stated that as a first year high school Principal he is extremely grateful for this group of seniors and the impact they have made on Fair Grove schools. He said, “They have done an awesome job of maintaining our school’s culture. They are a group of leaders. They love each other and always look out for the interests of others.”
One of the Senior speakers, Cheyenne Miller, stated she is going to attend the nursing program at MSU to work towards being a CRNA. She stated, “Some main takeaways from my speech are about the impact the community of Fair Grove has had on us, both the staff and our families. Another takeaway is the importance of not rushing through life and taking time to enjoy the moments we spend with the people we care about.”
Roepke added that this group of seniors has taught him a lot this past year. He stated, “Make school fun. Sometimes students are the ones making it fun, sometimes it’s school staff, but it really is best when everyone works together.”
Another senior speaker, Carson Trussell, stated he is attending the United States Naval Academy. He said one of his main takeaways from his speech was community is something that should not be taken advantage of. Trussell adds, “I will never forget the morals and amazing teachers and faculty. Some kids at Fair Grove really don’t understand how good they have it. This school is amazing and I hope my kids go through the same atmosphere.”
Every senior has a different story and different path, but they all in the same way have been affected by Fair Grove. The community, family, and love from Fair Grove will make an impact on who they are and other people around them wherever the seniors are headed to next.
