Senior signing day is a day when Fair Grove seniors can officially sign with their college to further their career in their sport. Fair Grove celebrated senior signing day on April 29, 2026, and had twelve seniors sign for their sport.
Senior signing day is an event that happens each year to highlight the students that are signing on with colleges. To show the hard work and dedication to their sport. This year Fair Grove had students that signed for sports that Fair Grove does not offer. Quincy Williams signed for Pickleball and June Chumbley signed for archery.
Quincy Williams (12) remarked, “I signed with Drury University. I signed for Pickleball. I’m most excited to compete in a sport at the collegiate level and meet new people!”
Luke Trehal (12) signed with Westminster college for football. He said he is most excited about having an opportunity to play football again and to meet his new teammates. His favorite memory from football was playing at the state championship game at Mizzou. Trehal stated,“My favorite part of Fair Grove sports was getting to hang out with my teammates at practice.”
Desiree Pollock (12) said, “I signed with Drury University. The sport I signed for was cheerleading/Stunt.”
Pollock also stated, “My favorite part about being in the Fair Grove sports program was the relationships I built with my team, because they became family to me. My favorite memory would be my junior year state competition when we ended our routine and we ran to hug one another because we were so proud of the routine we gave.”
Shayla Haddock (12) stated, “I signed with Eastern Oklahoma State College. I signed to play softball. I’m excited to experience new things and play competitively at the next level. My favorite part of Fair Grove Sports was the competitive environment.”
Each year the students that are signing get to sit in front of the school with their families and sign. For each student one coach or person gets to speak about the student and their accomplishments.
