With the upcoming 2015-2016 school year some changes will be occurring among the middle school staff since Chris Stallings, the current middle school principal, will be moving to the high school, Marc Green will be taking over as the Fair Grove middle school’s principal. Mr. Green has been at Fair Grove for 3 years, the 2015-2016 year will be the marker of 4 years. Having taught high school business tech, middle school social studies, served as the AP/AD as well as coaching football and track, he is well known by the students and staff of the Fair Grove school.
Mr. Green says he is excited to be working with a strong experienced staff to positively influence the middle school students. Confident and ready to be stepping up as Principal, “I believe with every new venture it is common to be a little nervous, but I feel prepared for the task at hand and I am extremely excited about this new opportunity.”
Mike Bell, Fair Grove’s current high school principal, speaks highly of Mr. Green saying, “He has been a proven leader in his tenure at Fair Grove and will continue to provide the MS with exemplary guidance and support.”
Though staff changes are of plenty, the middle school students and parents can be assured that there will not be any drastic policy or rule adjustments with Mr. Green next year, as he stated, “The middle school has experienced strong leadership over the past decade so I truly feel there will not be much change needed. I just hope to provide similar leadership so that we may continue to be successful academically and have a positive social and academic experience.”
Speaking from experience as a high school principal Mr. Bell shares, “My advice to all new building principals is to be fair and consistent in every situation, remember everything we do should be for the benefit of our kids.”
