Beckham Wilson is a fourth grade student at Fair Grove Elementary School. Wilson has a huge passion for basketball and football. His favorite subjects are social studies, and he enjoys PE and recess.
When he grows up, he would like to play football in college. Then, after college, his dream is to play for the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the classroom, Beckham has a positive attitude and determination. He is always looking to learn new things and is a great listener.
Wilson’s teacher, Christina Snitker, described, “Beckham is such a joy to have in class. He’s a natural leader who always cheers everyone on to do their best and stay positive. I love that he always laughs at my cheesy jokes—it really brightens the classroom! He’s also super helpful and willing to go the extra mile to lend a hand whenever it’s needed.”
Beckham explained he is very excited to go to middle school because he is looking forward to having a challenge in math. He is also excited to have Michael Zanzie as his science teacher.
Beckham mentioned, “When I’m not at school, I like playing football and playing on the Oculus.”
Beckham’s older brother, Christian Wilson (10), said, “Beckham acts like any other young boy, he always has energy, he loves his video games, and he always finds a way to say something I will never expect.”
Beckham said, “I look up to my brothers about football and the way they are really good Christian people.” He also added, “If I could change one thing about the world, I would want everyone to trust in Jesus.”
Christian explained, “Beckham has impacted me in a way that has helped me with my patience with everything, and he has looked up to me, which has led me to try to be a better person overall.”
As Beckham continues his academic and athletic journey, he has big dreams in life to accomplish. Between balancing his love for sports, school, and his strong faith, he’s already showing the dedication needed to reach his goals.
