Trilby Workman is the Administrative Assistant to the High School Principal, and works in the central office, helping staff and students everyday.

Workman started being a Substitute Teacher when her children started preschool. She has worked for six years in the Fair Grove R-X School District, four as a Substitute Teacher and two as an Administrative Assistant.

Workman loves working at Fair Grove and has many great memories, saying, “I don’t think I have one favorite memory. What I love best is how amazing our staff and students are and the chance I have to see the impact they make on the students and community.” As well as saying there are too many great things about Fair Grove to list.

Outside of working as an administrative assistant, Mrs. Workman is a mother of four. “In my free time I love to make cheesecakes, be crafty, and travel,” Mrs. Workman stated. According to High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Damon Sieger, Mrs. Workman is a great cook and has the best cheesecake known to man.

On top of being the administrative assistant, Mrs. Workman is the unofficial Resident Interior Decorator, according to High School Math Teacher and Student Council Sponsor Susan Feldman. Over the 2023 summer break, Mrs. Workman did a renovation in the teacher’s lounge, improving the space for staff.

Mrs. Workman has earned a reputation among her co-workers. High School Counselor and High School Volleyball Coach Tonya Peck said, “I met Trilby when she started working here a few years ago.  Getting to know her and having her as a co-worker has been awesome.  What has been even more awesome is getting to know her as a friend.  Everyone needs a Trilby in their life!”

Mrs. Feldman said, “Mrs. Trilby is such a friendly face to greet everyone in the mornings, she is always smiling and ready to help in any way she can.”

Mrs. Peck also added, “Trilby truly loves this school and the students and staff in it.  She goes above and beyond to keep the office organized and have it be a welcoming space for students, parents, and visitors.  She loves to shower the staff with gifts and makes us feel so special.”

Trilby Workman said, “I feel truly blessed to wake up everyday and look forward to going to a job that I love.”
