Dylan George (12) is a current senior in high school and is involved in multiple clubs, sports, and school events. George leads by example and has made friendships and connections with his fellow classmates and teachers throughout his time at Fair Grove.
George is involved in multiple clubs including First Priority, Future Business Leaders of America, Distributive Education Clubs of America, Future Farmers of America, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Pep Club, and National Honor Society. George is also involved in sports, including football and track and field.
George stated, “My favorite things about these activities are the opportunities I get to lead and influence others positively, the memories I create with my friends, coaches and teachers and the way that involvement outside of my regular classes has enriched my high school years.”
George has been at Fair Grove since seventh grade. George stated what he has learned throughout his time in high school, “The best things about my years in high school have been, accepting Jesus Christ as my personal savior, making close lasting friendships and experiencing life with a group of loyal friends, and how far I’ve come since freshman year.”
George has made various friendships and relationships with teachers and peers throughout his time at Fair Grove. Carson Trussell (12) stated, “Dylan is one of the most stand out guys I’ve ever met, he loves Jesus more than anything and genuinely wants the best for people.”
Trussell added, “DG is always a guy who leads by example and never asks for something that he isn’t willing to do.”
George shared advice he would give to the lowerclassman, “To younger students I would say seek Jesus, He is the thing you are searching for; He alone can satisfy your life!”
Amy Johnson, Fair Grove Government teacher and leader of the National Honor Society stated, “Dylan was a real hard worker in class. Dylan is a people person. He can talk to anyone about anything.” She also added, “He has an infectious personality and can bring a positive attitude to any situation. We are going to miss his energy, his Eagle Pride, and his amazing facial expressions!”
