Starbucks, Seven Brew, and Dutch Bros are three very popular places to get your favorite fun drink or coffee. I tried multiple orders from all three different shops, and decided which one is my favorite.
There are ups and downs to every coffee place you go, which is the best depends on the person. Some people enjoy an energy drink, while others just want their familiar coffee order. Some would prefer a snack with their drinks, and others don’t.
Stephanie Brown, the Fair Grove High School Art teacher, and a self proclaimed professional coffee drinker, explained, “I usually go to Starbucks. It’s closer to my house, and it has my favorite drink!” Brown recommended getting an iced brown sugar shaken espresso with cold foam. She said it has the perfect balance of sweetness and she would rate it a ten out of ten. Brown added “Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy Seven Brew too, an iced blondie always hits!”
Starbucks has many food options including; cake pops, sandwiches, muffins, egg bites, and oatmeal. They also offer refreshers including; matcha, iced coffee, hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
Seven Brew is a popular choice among high school students. Sage Crowley (11) voiced her opinion about the place, “My go-to and personal favorite is Seven Brew. It has the perfect variety of flavors and drinks.”
Crowley prefers drinking fun fruity drinks over coffee. Her favorite drink from Seven Brew is a Brew Lagoon energy with cream. A brew lagoon comes as a “fizz” or energy drink, and it includes flavors of blue raspberry, coconut, and lime. An energy or “fizz” can be paired with any flavor combination, but they also have their popular orders on the menu.
Maylee Tucker (10) shared her opinion about how the customer service and environment at Seven Brew is a lot more enjoyable than at Starbucks and Dutch Bros. Tucker stated, “My favorite place to get coffee is Seven Brew. I ordered an iced, half sweet, sweet and salty with light ice.” Sweet and salty is a combination of salted caramel and white chocolate.
Seven Brew might not have food options, but they have so many different flavors to put in your coffee, fizz, or energy. The most popular coffee orders are a Blondie, Brunette, and Cookie Butter. Popular fizzes are the Pink Mermaid, Brew Lagoon, and the Bahama Mama. Popular energies are Ocean Breeze, Sunrise, and the Pixie Stix. Seven Brew also offers teas, matcha, shakes, lemonades, and smoothies.
Since Dutch Bros has just recently come to Springfield not many have tried it out yet. I really enjoyed the blue raspberry lemonade with mango boba which is something that isn’t offered at Seven Brew and is only a seasonal option for Starbucks.
I challenge you to go out of your comfort zone and try something new at Starbucks, Seven Brew, or Dutch Bros, and decide for yourself which coffee you enjoy best!
