Robertson stated what he looks forward to when teaching, “What I look forward to the most is watching students graduate and go on to be successful members of the community.”
Robertson enjoys teaching in a small town because of the connections he can make with students. He explained, “I think that the small school atmosphere gives teachers a chance to make strong connections with their students to help guide them in their future decisions as young adults.”
Robertson’s class has left a good impression on many students. Ty Hart (9) stated, “As a person, I like how he tries so hard to make us have a fun time in his class.”
Hart described his favorite memory from Robertson’s class, “My favorite memory from Rob’s class is when I walked in at the beginning of class and he was gloving. He had the lights off, his “pump up music” on, and was waving his hands around in his newly gifted light up gloves.”
Hart explained the different aspects of Robertson’s class that he enjoyed, “I enjoy how his class is structured to be enjoyable while still teaching you all the things you need to know.” He continued, “He always wants so much for you to succeed not just in his class, but in life in general.”
